Ajattelin, että voisin jakaa tänne ihan jännän runon, johon törmäsin jossain japanin kirjassa. Se on Miyazawa Genjin runo ja öö tässä on se japaniksi ja englanniksi. Ehkä siitä on jossain suomenkielinenkin käännös, mutta suosittelen lukemaan japaniksi. Heh. Miyazawa syntyi 1896 ja kuoli 37 vuotiaana. Jaa-ah.

風にも負けず
雪にも夏の暑さにも負けぬ丈夫な体を持ち
欲はなく
決して怒らず
いつも静かに笑っている
一日に玄米四合と味噌と少しの野菜を食べ
あらゆることを
自分を勘定に入れずによく見聞きし分かり
そして忘れず
野原の松の林の陰の小さな茅葺き小屋にいて
東に病気の子どもあれば行って看病してやり
西に疲れた母あれば行ってその稲の束を追い
南に死にそうな人あれば行って怖がらなくて もいいと言い
北に喧嘩や訴訟があればつまらないからやめろと言い
日照りの時は涙を流し
寒さの夏はおろおろ歩き
みんなにデクノボーと呼ばれ
ほめられもせず
苦にもされず
そういうものにわたしはなりたい
